Karolina is a graduate of the University of the Fraser Valley’s 2004 Certified Dental Assistant program and SFU’s 2015 Business Administration program. With years of applied experience, Karolina is a certified Dental Assistant, treatment coordinator, office Managing Director, and also an instructor and partner at Vancouver Dental Education Centre. Karolina has gained extensive experience in general dentistry, cosmetic full-mouth rehabilitation, oral surgery & implantology, paediatric dentistry, as well as dental practice consulting. Karolina works closely with Dr. Ban and the Little Smiles Dental team to ensure a seamless and great experience for our patients and their families every time.
Ched
Certified Dental Assistant
Ched graduated from the Certified Dental Assisting Program at Vancouver Community College in 2012. Through her years of practice, most of her hands-on experience is drawn from Pediatric Dentistry. She enjoys interacting and building a positive relationship with each patient. Alongside Dr. Ban, they work together to provide the best dental treatment for your child. She firmly believes in educating children with the importance of good oral health at a young age. Her patient, easy-going, and cheerful attitude makes her a perfect fit at the Little Smiles team!
Bianca
Certified Dental Assistant
Bianca is the other friendly face you see every Saturday at our Vancouver office. She graduated with her Dental Assistant Certificate from Vancouver Community College in 2012 while practicing as a chairside assistant. Her experience stems from general and pediatric practices in both private and institutional clinics in Vancouver. She, along with the Little Smiles Dental team, believes in providing exemplary patient care to ease anxious minds who come into our clinic. Her gentle demeanor has made her a great addition to our team.
Ann
Certified Dental Assistant
Ann graduated from the Baking and Pastry Arts program in 2006 at Vancouver Community College. She worked in the food industry for many years before shifting gears into oral health. In 2012 she graduated from Vancouver Community College as a Certified Dental Assistant. Since then she has worked in General and Pediatric dental practice settings. Being a parent herself she understands the difficulties parents and children may have when it comes to oral health. She is willing to always help and assist with any questions at your next appointment!
Jamie
Patient Care Coordinator (Coquitlam)
Upon your arrival, Jamie’s bright smile will always welcome you and your child. Jamie was a flight attendant and joined our team in 2016. She has a very gentle personality and makes sure our patients are comfortable at every appointment. She loves to connect with our patients and get to know them and their families. Out of the office, she spends her spare time with her son and family and enjoys cooking and traveling.
Rupi
Certified Dental Assistant
Rupi Sidhu was born in England and moved to Canada with her family in 1998. She is from a large family of 4 children, making her kindhearted, caring and compassionate. Rupi graduated from the dental assisting program at MTI College in 2011 and has since gained experience in general dentistry as well as in paediatric dentistry working at BC Children's Hospital. Rupi is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has 2 beautiful children, Arjun, and Baani. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Cindy
Certified Dental Assistant
Cindy works at our Vancouver location and always strives to help brighten little smiles. She graduated from Vancouver Community College in 2005, with a Certificate in Certified Dental Assisting. Cindy has an extensive background in orthodontic and paediatric dentistry from both private and institutional clinics. She is poised, knowledgeable, and very professional with kids as she is a loving mother herself.
Jinah
Dental Assistant/ Treatment Coordinator
Jinah graduated from University in South Korea and came to Canada in 2008. Since then, her career has focused on customer relations.
She is the friendly face you will see both clinically during treatment and administratively when discussing treatment options. Jinah is an expert dental treatment coordinator and is able to help review and choose the best treatment options for your child while ensuring all you questions are answered and you feel comfortable with the care your child is about to receive.
In her free time, Jinah likes going for walks with her little dog and taking her son to playgrounds around the neighbourhood . Please say hello to her if you get to see her around!
